There is many seasons and changes in life.  Some are welcomed and anticpated and others are feared and rejected.  However, one can be certain that life will have many changes.  It is often necessary that in order for new things to happen there must be a change or a shift.  During the changing of times and seasons there is always room for challenges. Those challenges, while usually unwelcomed, is necessary to prepare us for the next season in our life.  We often have to learn to be faithul in the darkness before we walk in the light of a new day.  There is times that we must stand faithful in seasons of want before we are able to walk in plenty. The struggle often exists in the transition from glory to glory or even from valley to valley. It is during those times of transition that we cannot forget the promise or the word that was spoken to us in previous days.  I have learned to expect battles and trials.  Some may say that's a lack of faith but I say that's a realization of God's word.  Jesus said in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.  In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world". Along with every trial, along with every tribulation there is a promise attached to it that God will in fact see you through.  He will keep his promises!
